How Nicole Strober, Compass, collects, uses and protects your information when you use this website or contact me.
Who I am
This website is operated by Nicole Strober, a licensed real estate agent (DRE #02001608) with Compass, in Los Angeles, California. "I" and "my" in this policy mean me. You can reach me at nicole@nicolestrober.com or (424) 744-7282.

What I collect
I collect only what you choose to give me: your name, email address, phone number, and anything you write in a message, such as the address of a home you are thinking of selling. I collect it when you fill out a form on this site, call, text or email me.
This site uses Google Analytics, a tool from Google that records how visitors use the site, such as which pages they view, roughly where they are and what kind of device they use. It uses cookies and similar technology to do this. I use that information to understand how the site is working and how to improve it. It does not tell me who you are unless you contact me.
This site also uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) that records when someone visits a page or contacts me through this site. I use it to measure how my advertising is doing and to show my ads to people who may be interested. It uses cookies and similar technology, and Meta receives information about your visit, such as the pages you view and your device. I do not send Meta your name, email address or phone number.
Like most websites, the company that hosts it may also keep basic technical records of visits, such as your IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the site running.
How I use it
I use your information to reply to you, to help with your buying or selling plans, and to follow up about what you asked. If you give me your email address, I may also send you my newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter, or by telling me, and I will remove you.
If you give me your phone number and agree to receive texts, I may text you. Message and data rates may apply, message frequency varies, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out.
I do not sell your information.
You can limit analytics by blocking cookies in your browser settings, or by installing Google’s opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can also control the ads you see on Facebook and Instagram in your Meta ad settings, or turn off tracking in your browser. This site does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals from browsers.
Who else handles your information
To run my business, your information passes through a few service providers that process it on my behalf: GoHighLevel, the customer management system where I keep contact details and send follow-up messages and newsletters, Vercel, which hosts this website, and Google, whose Google Analytics tool measures how the site is used, and Meta, whose pixel measures my advertising. They may only use your information to provide those services to me.
Compass is my brokerage, and it may also handle your information in connection with a real estate transaction under its own policy: Compass Privacy Policy.
I may also share information when the law requires it.
How long I keep it
If you contact me and we never end up working together, I keep your information for up to two years, and then delete it. If you become a client, I keep your information for as long as I need it to serve you and to meet legal and record-keeping requirements, including those that apply to me and to Compass as my brokerage.
You can ask me to delete your information sooner, and I will, except where I am required to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information I have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email me at nicole@nicolestrober.com and I will respond. California residents have additional rights under California law, and I will honor those requests as well.
This site is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If I change how I handle information, I will update this page and the date above. If I add advertising tools to this site, such as a Facebook pixel, I will describe them here first.
